As the City’s workforce development board, Philadelphia Works, Inc. fully understands the severity of the economic impact that COVID-19 is having on our local economy.
Businesses and individuals are navigating their priorities regarding health, safety, and the ability to sustain during these uncertain times.
For Philadelphia Works, the health and safety of the communities that we serve every day is our top priority. We are continuously reviewing and responding to local, state, and federal recommendations to inform our response to the rapidly changing directives regarding COVID-19. Additionally, we are ensuring that our decisions are in alignment with the offices of Mayor James Kenney and Governor Tom Wolf.
To that end, and until further notice, we have canceled all events and meetings, and have closed all local PA CareerLink® centers and Philadelphia Works’ corporate office in One Penn Center at Suburban Station. We will all continue to operate remotely and continue our mission responding to business needs and increasing economic opportunity for all Philadelphia residents.
