REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Philadelphia Works Inc. has released a Request for proposals (RFP) for entities seeking to operate cohort-based, vocational skills training programs for adult career seekers in the public workforce system. Proposals will be accepted on a rolling basis until August 11, 2021, at 5pm EDT.
The first round of procurement will be focused on training programs in healthcare (clinical), Health Technology & Administration, and IT (Information Technology) Customer Support & Network Support, in early fall, Philadelphia Works intends to release a second phase of Requests for Proposals for training programs aligned with other recovery occupations. ApprenticeshipPHL and Philadelphia Works are seeking proposals from organizations in Philadelphia and Southeastern PA participating in the Apprenticeship Navigator Registered Apprenticeship program. Organizations with apprentices accepted into the third cohort of the Apprenticeship Navigator RA, beginning October 2021, can apply through this RFP to receive salary and fringe funding support for their apprentice’s participation. Proposals will be accepted through Friday, September 3, 2021, 5:00 pm EDT. Additional information can be found in the RFP.
